Discover the history, beauty, and charm of Redlands, California, on this delightful day trip! Our first stop is the magnificent Kimberly Crest House & Gardens; a hidden gem nestled among six acres of beautifully landscaped Italian gardens. Built in 1897, this picturesque French Château-style mansion is a well-preserved example of Victorian-era architecture in California. Designed by the architectural firm Dennis and Farwell, the home was inspired by the grand castles of France. After exploring Kimberly Crest, enjoy a delicious lunch included at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Redlands. Each entrée includes a fresh salad, warm bread, a non-alcoholic beverage, and spumoni ice cream for dessert. Our final stop is the Lincoln Shrine, located at the historic A.K. Smiley Public Library. Enjoy a self-guided visit and explore exhibits dedicated to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War era. Return to Garvey Center at 4pm.

Please Note, Kimberly Crest involves considerable walking, stairs, and uneven pathways. Participants should be comfortable with these physical requirements.
