During our summer camp experiences, educators will immerse themselves alongside students, adopting the perspective of a learner with educator insight. Engaging fully in all activities and skills, they'll also serve as vigilant overseers for student safety. Through these paid externship opportunities, teachers will glean firsthand understanding of the skills, hurdles, and potential paths in diverse STEM fields. Our aim is for educators to re-enter classrooms invigorated and equipped to infuse their teaching with newfound knowledge and enthusiasm, igniting inspiration in their students. Learn about different types of bridges, structural components, and engineering design principles. Hands-on Bridge Design Workshops Bridge Construction Simulations Bridge Testing and Evaluation Field trip to live job site Please Note: To ensure equitable access, we kindly ask that each educator limits their initial registration to two externship opportunities. This will allow as many participants as possible to take advantage of these experiences.
