It's Back on Sunday 27th September 2026 for the 23st Year!
Run by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test, the aim is for participants to enjoy the challenge of walking the beautiful Test Way in Hampshire,UK and to use it to raise money for their chosen charities while helping Rotary Charitable activities via sponsorship.
All monies raised will go to charities.
The Rotary Club of Romsey Test is proud of the 'Walk the Test Way' which is our annual event to raise money for walker's charities as well as Rotary charitable activities. Launched in 2003 and since then we've raised over £1.2 million for some 350 charities.
Each year the event draws interest from many groups (e.g. youth groups, scouts, schools, companies) as well as smaller groups, families and individuals who fundraise for charities that mean a lot to them, whilst walking the beautiful Test Way.
Event details and schedule
Fees:
- 'Early Bird' discounted registration cost £13 Adult and £7 Under 18's.
- After 15th August registration fees rise to £16 & £9 respectively.
The fees cover the cost of running the event - additionally all walkers are expected to raise sponsorship, ideally minimum of £50 - see guidelines.
The walk is suitable and fun for all ages and abilities and you're able to choose how many miles you wish to walk.
- 25.5 Miles - St Mary Bourne
- 16 Miles - Wherwell
- 11 Miles - Stockbridge
- 8 Miles - Horsebridge
- 5 Miles - Mottisfont
After check in at the Romsey Crosfield Hall, Walkers are taken by coach to their starting location and will walk back to Romsey's Memorial Park, where there'll be a warm finish-line welcome and a medal!
The walk is well signposted and fully marshalled and dogs are welcome on a short lead.
