You may be gym strong but are you “Farm Strong”?
The Farm Strong OCR is a unique farm work inspired challenge course that combines more than 20 obstacles to create an event like no other. Prepare to get wet, winded, and worked, plus it will be a lot of fun! Several new obstacles will be added this year.
The Farm Strong OCR at Waid Park was co-designed by the Spartan SGX Coach Team at Ferguson Fitness and Franklin County Parks and Recreation. It will be held rain or shine on Saturday August 1st at 9:00 am.
The $30.00 registration fee includes the chip timed event, a Farm Strong logo t-shirt, and live bluegrass music from Mason Creek to get you moving.
Awards will be 3 deep for Male and Female age and weight specific categories. A Clydesdale category is available if you desire to compete in a general weight class rather than age group (Women 150+lbs Men 220+lbs)
Pre-registration deadline is Thursday July 30th at 11:59pm. Onsite registration fee increases by $10.00.
Farm Strong Kids OCR will be held from 11:00-11:30. Kids 12 and under may participate in the individually timed event for free. The modified short course will be in close proximity to the main event area.
A food truck will be onsite during the event.
What to expect: Franklin County farm inspired obstacle course elements. Several new challenges will be introduced in 2025 including large machinery. Returning favorites from last year include:-Farmers ford-Hay bale hustle-5 gallon bucket fill-Tire flip-Sandbag haul-Low crawl-Balance block-Tractor climb
The start will be corral groups of 10 released at 1 minute intervals. Last year’s finish times ranged from 21 to 70 minutes. Awards will be issued by age group.

Day of check in begins at 7:30 am. Arrive at check in no later than 8:30 am.
