Join Kim Bernard, manager of the Makers Space at Camden Hills Regional High School for the UPseat Project, a hands-on, community building effort upcycling plastic jugs into public space seating. Participants will reduce, reuse, and recycle by collecting, cleaning, cutting, and shredding #2 plastic jugs.The “shred” will then be colored, heated, and extruded into plastic “boards.” Together we’ll raise awareness about environmental issues, generate dialogue about sustainability, and discover fun, creative solutions.
