Have you always wanted to learn how to play the bagpipes, but you weren't sure where to go? Look no further! This fall, the sounds of the Scottish Highlands are alive at Hochstein! In this introductory course, you will learn how to read music, play the practice chanter, and learn basic tunes that are played by massed bands worldwide. Although this course features playing the practice chanter and not the bagpipes, this stepping-stone course to playing the Highland Bagpipes is sure to be your next musical adventure!
New this year: Bagpipe Class will have the opportunity to intersect with the new Intro to Pipe Band Snare Drumming class held at the same time!
