Description

Dancing has a direct impact on our minds, bodies, and lives. It provides opportunities for self-expression, helps build our self-confidence, and nourishes our physical and emotional well-being.
In this class, participants will work with a range of dance forms, musical styles, and improvisational techniques. Our physical focus aims to improve communication, coordination, flexibility, muscle tone and balance, all in an environment that caters to participants’ needs and unique learning styles. By working with basic elements of dance through imagination and sensation, participants can enhance their connection to self and others.
Note: NO prior dance experience required!
Recommended Materials: Wear comfortable clothing and bare or stocking feet.
