Description
Adult modern class for beginners starts with a gentle warm-up that combines floor work and center exercises, focusing on developing essential skills with proper technique, musicality and the art of spinal articulation. The class then progresses to moving across the floor, with the opportunity to explore improvisation techniques and delve into choreographed sequences.
This class is an introduction to movement vocabulary influenced by various modern dance styles such as Fagan, Horton and Graham techniques.
Dance attire for this class:
Leggings, footless or convertible tights, sweatpants or shorts
Solid colored leotard, t-shirt or tank top
No street shoes on the marley floor
