Long Range develops the disciplined process required for consistent precision at extended distances. This course focuses on building a repeatable shooting system grounded in ballistic understanding, environmental awareness, and mechanical consistency. Students will refine body position, natural point of aim, recoil management, sight tracking, and trigger control to maximize accuracy and minimize shooter-induced error. Instruction includes optic setup and confirmation, data collection, ballistic fundamentals, wind estimation, and environmental considerations. This is a 2 day course. Day 1 is designed to teach to the basics in a classroom environment and properly set up equipment or identify equipment issues with time to order/install prior to live fire exercises on Day 2. Beyond static shooting, students will engage from multiple supported and improvised positions while managing time standards and accountability at distance. Emphasis is placed on building a structured pre-shot process, reading conditions, and making informed corrections. This is not a “send it and hope” course. It is a disciplined approach to precision rifle performance where consistency, data, and accountability drive results. Long Range establishes the precision baseline within the Operator Series and prepares students to confidently extend their effective capability. Train with discipline. Perform with purpose.
