This activity is closed to further registration.
Students will be introduced to personal finance vocabulary and concepts by reading and engaging in hands-on activities. Students will also discuss and explain what terms mean in their lives now, and if they have any personal experiences with these words and concepts. Students will analyze the way finances have been experienced in their lives. Students will then practice the concepts and vocabulary by completing worksheets, games, and activities. By the end of the class, students should be able to identify and define the financial terminology, critique bad financial habits, and build a simple budget and prove their knowledge and discipline by following the budget they built. Note: No class on 9/4.
