This course has a strong focus on transitioning between your pistol and AR rifle. Before you enroll in this course, you are required to have solid safety, manipulation or proficiency skills in BOTH your pistol and AR-15 rifle. Your rifle sling needs to be mounted and your optic needs to be zeroed in BEFORE you arrive. Please double check the gear requirements below to ensure you have everything listed without exception. This course will teach you how to safely and efficiently transition between your primary weapon system (rifle) and your secondary (pistol). There will be a heavy focus on safety, weapons manipulation, and the effective employment of both weapon systems in a high-stress, dynamic environment. You’ll engage multiple targets and practice the use of cover drills, as well as shoot, move, and communicate drills What to bring to class: Unloaded handgun, 100-150 rounds handgun ammo, outside the waistband holster, two handgun magazines, unloaded AR-15 with sling and optic or iron sights or optic, 200-250 rounds of rifle ammo, two rifle magazines, eye protection, hearing protection, appropriate range attire and closed-toe footwear, bag lunch, and water
