CLASSES OFFERED IN ENGLISH & SPANISH This class session will be held in English. Our NEW Family Faith Formation format for Pre-K – 5th grade is a dynamic and innovative approach designed to enrich both the child and parent/guardian in their faith. Families will gather once a month at St. Joseph. Children will gather by grade, where they will study the month’s topic with a catechist. Parents will gather in the dining hall and be engaged in the month’s topic through talks, discussion, fellowship, and preparing for the family lessons they will do at home. The remainder of the month they will complete one family lesson a week, which will take about an hour. The lessons are fun and easy to navigate, and they bring the family together in faith. (Parents who have a 6th grade student may opt to have them join the Family Session rather than Youth Ministry if they prefer). Days and times are as follows*: First Wednesday from 6:15pm – 7:45pm (Both English and Spanish offered) First Sunday from 10:15am – 11:45pm (English only) *Please see the program calendar for months where this is altered due to holidays. Cost for Family Formation will be the same - $75 per child; maxed at 3 children. This will include all classroom materials for parents and children, at-home lessons, and any enrichment events throughout the year. SACRAMENT PREPARATION: Children entering their second year of sacrament preparation will have classroom lessons and extra supplemental materials geared towards preparation for first reconciliation and communion specifically. Cost for sacrament preparation is $40 per child making their sacrament this year. This will include all at-home materials, classroom materials, and workshops. This Sacramental Fee will be paid separately in the Fall.
