Ages: 6 - 13 years

Purpose:- Introduce new swimming and water safety skills.- Improve swim stroke proficiency and swimming for longer distance.
Prerequisites:- Jump into deep water from the side, tread or float for 1 minute, rotate one full turn, swim front crawl and/or elementary backstroke for 25 yards, then exit the water.- Push off in a streamlined position them swim front crawl for 15 yards, change position and direction as necessary, swim elementary backstroke for 15 yards, then exit the water.
This class takes place in the multi-purpose pool.Pool temperature is 85 degrees.
