Description

This course begins the transistion from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsiblities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. Prerequisite: completion of the Bronze Medallion award.

CANCELLATION POLICY:100% of the registration fee, less a $10.00 admin fee, will be refunded if notice of withdrawal is received via email a minimum of 7 days before the program start date. No Refund or Credit will be issued on or after the program or course starts except for medical reasons (doctor's note is required). No Show will be charged a full registration fee-no refunds will be issued. Non-attendance does not constitute as Notice of Withdrawal.
