Mini Break Day Camp: Reduce, Reuse, & Rock

From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate Earth Day on April 22, 2026 at the Reduce, Reuse, & Rock Mini Break Day Camp! Youth will make a difference this Earth Day through hands-on activities like a trash audit, a reduce relay, and an upcycling challenge. Campers will also rock out with our minerals collection and create a pet rock to take home. Secure your spot today and spend Earth Day exploring, learning, and having fun at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre. Specific activities will depend on outdoor conditions.
Children should dress for the weather including boots, rainpants/snowpants, jacket, scarf, hat, and mittens/gloves. Please also bring a snack, lunch (no nuts!), water bottle, indoor shoes, and an extra pair of socks.
Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Early dropoff and late pickup is not available. Doors will open at 8:50 a.m. and all campers must be picked up by 4:10 p.m.
This program takes place at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre.
Ages 6–12.Limited spaces available.Earlybird rate in effect until April 3: $40/youth/day.Regular rate in effect April 4: $44/youth/day.Pre-registration required by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20.
