Mini Break Day Camp: Forest Friday

From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ready to branch out and get your hands and feet dirty? At Forest Friday, we’ll dive into the wonders of the woods, learning what keeps forests healthy and how the trees can boost our own well-being. Led by an Interpreter with an extensive forestry background, youth will explore, discover, and leave with a whole new love for trees. Specific activities will depend on outdoor conditions.
Children should dress for the weather including boots, snowpants, jacket, scarf, hat, and mittens/gloves. Please also bring a snack, lunch (no nuts!), water bottle, indoor shoes, and an extra pair of socks.
Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Early dropoff and late pickup is not available. Doors will open at 8:50 a.m. and all campers must be picked up by 4:10 p.m.
This program takes place at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre.
Ages 6–12.Limited spaces available.Earlybird rate in effect until March 1: $40/youth/day.Regular rate in effect March 2: $44/youth/day.Pre-registration required by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.
