Mini Break Day Camp: Nests are Best

From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Spring is here, and that means bird migration season! Soon, nests will be popping up everywhere. Not all animals build nests, but the ones that do are experts at creating strong and cozy spaces for their young. At Nests are Best, youth will explore the amazing variety of local bird nests, and even build a humongous nest of their own! Register today to discover why nests really are the best. Specific activities will depend on outdoor conditions.
Children should dress for the weather including boots, rainpants/snowpants, jacket, scarf, hat, and mittens/gloves. Please also bring a snack, lunch (no nuts!), water bottle, indoor shoes, and an extra pair of socks.
Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Early dropoff and late pickup is not available. Doors will open at 8:50 a.m. and all campers must be picked up by 4:10 p.m.
This program takes place at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre.
Ages 6–12.Limited spaces available.Earlybird rate in effect until March 27: $40/youth/day.Regular rate in effect March 28: $44/youth/day.Pre-registration required by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 6.
