Alberta Bats Walk & Talk
Saturday, August 1, 2026From 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.Discover Alberta's amazing bat species! Join local expert Cory Olson from Wildlife Conservation Society Canada's Alberta Community Bat Program to learn about these fascinating creatures, debunk some common myths, and enjoy a walk through the Fort grounds in the hopes of spotting wild bats.
This program takes place at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre. Please note: there is another Alberta Bats Walk & Talk happening at Fort Normandeau on July 5, 2026. Come to one or both!
All ages welcome.$5/person.Ages 2 & under are free.All children and youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.Pre-registration required by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026.This event runs rain or shine; it can be moved indoors in the event of inclement weather.
