Description
In this four week session introduces four essentials oils that fit into everyday life: at home, at work, or while traveling: true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), sweet orange (Citrus sinensis), rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) 1,8 cineole, and Eucalytpus dives (Eucalytpus dives). Participants will learn a bit about each plant, and how essential oils can help support calmness, breath, memory, sleep, and a sense of overall balance.
In this class simple inhalation and topical methods of use, with guidance on safe dilution, general precautions, and everyday application will be introduced. Participants will also receive tips on how to shop mindfully for essential oils. Hand on activities include guided smelling ad the creation of an inhaler or a topical blend to take home.
This session emphasizes that working with essential oils can be safe, sustainable, accessible, and enjoyable, helping participants build confidence using medicinal and aromatic plant medicine while honoring both people and plants.
Participants must bring a piece of cloth or wood & a notebook and pen/pencil to class ; Name of favorite smell and reason why to first class only. Please do not wear any fragrances.
