About this event
Techno Art invites students to break technology open and see what’s inside. Through hands-on deconstruction of electronics and creative reuse of circuit boards, wires, and mechanical parts, students design bold 2D and 3D artworks that blur the line between art and engineering. Exploration is central to the process. Students carefully dismantle devices, study how components interact, and transform discarded technology into original sculptural forms. The course emphasizes curiosity, craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving while introducing foundational concepts in structure, composition, and material design. This is a class for students who like to tinker, ask questions, and turn overlooked parts into unexpected art. Instructor: Austin Gundlach, Prairie Visual Communications Manager
