Quesnel Sealions Summer Swim Program
The Sealions Swim Club provides a fun and supportive environment where swimmers build confidence, develop swim skills, and learn the fundamentals of competitive swimming.
Sealions Pup Programs
Pups (Ages 4–6)
Practice Options:
• Monday & Wednesday – 4:45–5:30 pm
• Tuesday & Thursday – 4:45–5:30 pm
Session Dates:
• Session 1: May 4 – June 16
• Session 2: June 17 – July 30
Swimmers should be able to:
• Put face in the water and blow bubbles
• Stay with the group
• Follow directions
• Be enthusiastic about learning
Pool pass not included
Super Pups (Ages 6–9)
Practice Options:
• Monday & Wednesday – 3:30–4:30 pm
• Tuesday & Thursday – 3:30–4:30 pm
Session Dates:
• Session 1: May 4 – June 16
• Session 2: June 17 – July 30
Swimmers should be able to:
• Put face in the water and blow bubbles
• Stay with the group and follow directions
• Feel comfortable in the big pool, including deeper water (with coach assistance)
Pool pass not included
Transition from Super Pups to Division 1
Not sure if your swimmer is ready for Division 1?
Swimmers moving from Super Pups to Div 1 should generally meet the following:
• Be 7 years of age or older
• Be able to swim 25 m unassisted (the length of the big pool)
• Be comfortable putting their face in the water while swimming

Sealions Elite Program (Full-Time)
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• May 4 – August 2
Practice Times (based on division):
• Div 1 (Ages 7–8): 3:30–4:30 pm
• Div 2–3 (Ages 9–12): 4:30–5:30 pm
• Div 4+ (Ages 12–19): 5:30–6:30 pm
Includes:
• 4-month Quesnel Rec Centre pool pass
• Pool access outside practice times
Sealions Flex Program (Part-Time)
Schedule:
• Tuesday & Thursday
• May 5 – August 2
Practice Times (based on division):
• Div 1 (Ages 7–8): 3:30–4:30 pm
• Div 2–3 (Ages 9–12): 4:30–5:30 pm
• Div 4+ (Ages 12–19): 5:30–6:30 pm
Details:
• Same coaching and training as Elite
• Fewer practice days
• Pool pass not included
