Join us for our 13th year of the VFW Run for Sam on July 8th, 2023! Let's all get together and celebrate fitness and community in 2023! Come to Princeton, WI and participate in the 13th VFW Run for Sam 10K & 1 Mile Walk! Run or walk a 10K on our beautiful loop country road course, or enjoy a 1 mile walk loop course in town. Hills included! :-) Got kids? We are a very family friendly event. Returning for 2023, we have a kids, 12 and under 1 mile run! We are also bringing back our FREE kids sprint for kiddos 6 and under. Start time of 8:00AM. Made in USA performance t-shirt and locally made bratwurst for each participant. Free tap beer if over 21 on race day! The grill will be fired up and the bar will be open after the event, come spend time in Princeton while giving towards a great cause, and setting a PR on a 10K! Proceeds benefit a scholarship, in memory of Sam Hennessee, for students of Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties pursuing an education in the medical field. We look forward to seeing YOU there!
Event details and schedule
~Packet pick up and onsite registration (for $40 cash or check) is available on Friday, July 7th from 5pm-7pm and Saturday, July 8th (race day!) from 6am-8am at VFW Post 10452.
~Run for Sam 10K & 1 Mile Walk starts promptly at 8:00AM with our fun and FREE Kids Sprint for kids 6 years and under! Details regarding staggered start will follow in your registration email.
~Free parking onsite!
~Plan to stick around after you finish your Run for Sam for a free bratwurst and great music!
~Race timing professionaly provided by It's Race Time!
