This fun class for everyone in the family! Raku is a type of Japanese pottery traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies, most often in the form of chawan tea bowls. Students will experience the excitement of a fast-firing technique that produces metallic lusters and crackling distinctive to raku even hair technique. (Students must be accompanied by an adult) April 5th is the firing day ware closed-fit cloths and closed-toed shoes. If you can't make it at 5:00 it's fine to come later. *Please be aware that the price structure for this class is the follwing: 1 student - $20, 2 students - $30, 3 students - $40, and 4 students - $50. All people participating in the class must be registered.
