The Active Kids program is designed for little ones who are walking to 5 years. Programming is designed to support different age groups, with caregiver participation required for tots 2 years and younger.
For little ones walking to 2 years, the sessions explore music and fitness to get your tot grooving and moving while developing agility, balance and coordination. Parent participation is required.
For preschoolers 3 to 5 years, the sessions encourage independence and confidence with a musical flair. Fundamental movement skills and healthy habits will be enhanced through gross motor play and non-stop fun!
Nut and Allergy Aware:
Town of Saugeen Shores facilities and programs follow nut and allergy aware policies. Program participants are asked to not bring food items specifically containing nuts into facilities and programs, and to be aware of all common allergens. For more information visit our allergy page.
Refund Policy:
The refund policy applies to dryland and aquatic programs operated by the Department of Community Services (Town-operated) and operated by program providers under contract with the Department of Community Services (Town-contracted). If an exception to this policy applies, it will be indicated at the time of registration.
- If a program is cancelled by Community Services, a full or partial refund will apply depending on number of classes attended
- Program fees for Town-operated and Town-contracted program, both dry-land and aquatic are refundable up to two weeks (14 days) prior to a program’s start date. A full refund, less the $20.00 administration fee will apply.
- No refunds will be issued within two weeks (14 days) of a program start date except for COVID-19 related and medical reasons, or if a vacancy can be filled through the waiting list.
- For program withdrawal during a program due to COVID-19 related or medical reasons, the participant will be refunded for number of classes remaining, less the $20 administration fee.
- For Town-operated programs, if a refund credit is left on account for future use, the administration fee is not charged. This does not apply for Town-contracted programs.
Parent participation is required for children 3 years and under.
