Description
Utilizing the amenities at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre, the licensed preschool will provide a warm and nurturing environment energized by children’s natural curiosity.
Programs are designed to take a children’s first approach to learning. Utilizing an emergent curriculum that helps children develop socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. We promote Life -long learning – the ABC’s to life are autonomy, belonging and confidence. The afternoon class is ideal for preschoolers who are looking for longer days and preparing going into kindergarten next year.
Our experienced preschool leaders will provide a personalized learning experience that is guided by the BC Early Learning Framework. The framework provides continuity of learning from preschool to kindergarten so that children are prepared to enter the primary program.
Each season we will have an Adventure Day at PC3 that will require parent participation for some; we will be swimming, skating, and visiting the library! We will have a fieldtrip in the Spring!
We are welcoming parents to CITY Preschool through Open House sessions in September; We will review the program, introduce the staff team, and take questions.

We have monthly payments available. First month is due when registering then additional fees will be processed the first of every month. The monthly rate is based on the number of sessions offered each month. To process online monthly payments your credit card expiry date must be July 2024 or later.
This program does qualify for the Affordable Child Care Benefit, subsidy form will be provided for families in August

We require 30 days written notice to withdraw from the program. Email citypreschool@portcoquitlam.ca . Withdrawals are not permitted for the months of December, March, May and June.
