Family Day Free Play and Skate - Advance registration required.
Families and their young children must attend and skate together! Interactive on ice activity zones set up for families and their young children to play and learn to skate. Shopping carts, sleds, giant blocks, as well as skating and young children's hockey zones are a few activities families can enjoy together. Staff available to provide skating tips to new skaters to help customers gain confidence on the ice.

Pre - Registration:

• Port Coquitlam residents - Tuesday Feb. 10 at 8am
• Non-residents - Friday Feb.13 at 8am
• Maximum 60 skaters
• External private lessons not permitted
  
  

Equipment tips:

• Bike helmets not made for ice and therefore not permitted
• Children 11yrs and under require hockey or snowboarding helmet
• Skates required to participate, ice cleats not permitted
• Personal skating aids not permitted, 20 city aids available
• Wheelchair and strollers permitted, free helmet supplied
  - ensure wheels are wiped clean prior to going on the ice.
