Join us at the Cultural Roundtable for a free and engaging evening with local artist Nishant Jain.
Nishant will share how art-making can be a portal to engage more deeply with our environment, helping us be more mindful in the spaces we inhabit.
Through demonstrations and simple, hands on exercises that get us putting pen to paper, Nishant will show us how creating a drawing habit is about more than the skill of drawing. Learn ideas and simple techniques from Nishant's sneaky art practice to help you build a sustainable and fulfilling drawing habit.


Bring your curiosity, a willingness to connect with others and openness to explore new ideas. All supplies will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own sketchbook and pen/pencil if desired. In addition to art-making, the evening will include refreshments and an engaging opportunity to connect with other creative people here in Port Coquitlam.
Nishant’s new book, Make (Sneaky) Art, will be available to purchase during the evening from Western Sky Books.
