The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane Director: Meg Parker Wilson Level: IV (9th-12th Graders) SYNOPSIS:The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane follows the extraordinary adventure of a vain and self-absorbed china rabbit named Edward Tulane. Gifted to a young girl named Abilene, Edward lives a comfortable life—admired, adored, and perfectly dressed—until one day he is lost overboard during a sea voyage. From the ocean’s depths to the hands of fishermen, hobos, children, and caretakers, Edward’s journey takes him across years and miles, through love, loss, and heartbreak. Along the way, he discovers what it truly means to care for others and to be cared for in return. Based on the beloved novel by Kate DiCamillo, this tender and moving story reminds us that the heart can be broken—and yet still open again to love.
