About this event
A re-designed camp for middle and older teens, Extreme Sports will offer a full two more days than regular camps, allowing for several new opportunities during a mid-week expedition phase. Classic camp activities will include archery, riflery, paintball, barrel racing, swimming, four wheeling, canoeing, water skiing, and more. During the expedition phase (Tuesday noon through Thursday afternoon) participants may choose between several options. Each of the off grounds options will feature two nights of outpost camping. *Water Trek-Explore a section of this scenic water trail from a canoe or kayak. A water navigation lesson will be offered on Monday. *Bike Trek-Bring your bike along and experience some of the highlights of the hundreds of miles of Central Iowa's bike trails. A limited number of loaner bikes available. *Horse Trek-Choose this trek on horseback for a couple of days of trial riding. Experience the beauty of back country trails along with the companionship of a camp horse. Horse campers have first option. *Walk Through the Bible-Explore the Bible in its context, gaining a broad picture of the story of Scripture. Enjoy classic camp activities while remaining at base camp.
