PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Emerging Choreographer Program provides early to mid-career creators with resources and professional development during Springboard’s 3-week Summer Project.

ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES & RESOURCES
Each year, 6 selected dance makers receive:
• 27-Hour Creation Residency: Create new work with a cast of versatile Springboard dancers.
• 35 Hours of Independent Research: Studio space for creative exploration.
• Works-in-Progress Showing: Present new work alongside Resident Choreographers and Principal Companies.
• PLATFORM Showing: Present existing work or work-in-progress (up to 6 mins) in a black box theater.
