Description

This program is for a class size of 6 dogs and goes on for 6 weeks. Your dog will learn all skills needed to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Your dog must be 6 months or older and have completed a beginner obedience class or have equivalent skills. The last day of class will be the CGC test where you and your dog can earn their CGC title. This can be a great stepping stone for future therapy dogs.

Dogs must be friendly and up to date on their Rabies vaccinations.
The CGC Test items your dog will learn:

• Accept a friendly stranger
• Sit politely for petting
• Appearance and grooming
• Loose lead walking
• Walk through a crowd
• Sit and down on cue, and stay in place
• Come when called
• Reaction to another dog
• Reaction to distraction
• Supervised separation

On the first day of class, please bring a 6 foot leash and plenty of high value treats such as small slices of chicken, string cheese, hotdogs, etc. Food your dog gets really excited for. :)
Also, please email proof of your dog's Rabies vaccinations to info@trustlinecanine.com before the first day of class or bring proof with you to show trainer first day of class.
Classes may need to be rescheduled due to the weather. If that happens, you will be notified.
