SPRING AUDITIONS FOR THE NASH LEGACY ENSEMBLES WILL BE HELD SUNDAY, August 30th FROM 1PM - 4pm. AT THE JOHN DAWSON JAZZ EDUCATION CENTER: 1014 N. 2nd St., SUITE 1 PHOENIX, AZ 85004 Classes begin on Sunday, September 13th and culminate with a fall concert on December 13th 1PM on The Nash stage. The Nash Legacy Combos are designated for high school students and feature some of the top high school students in the state. In these combos, we focus on improvisation and playing challenging rep from composers such as Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and more. In this unparalleled Nash program, talented high school jazz students are immersed in the essential combo environment.
