Have fun making your own ear of corn with beads and learn about one of the many crops grown by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People (Hohokam).
Cost: $2 per student/craft
Each Craft Kit order includes the materials for the craft, information about corn and other plants grown by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People, and a PowerPoint set of step-by-step instructions. There is no in-person instruction for this activity.
Kits to be picked up at S’edav Va’aki Museum (formerly Pueblo Grande Museum & Archaeological Park) located at 4619 E. Washington Street Phoenix, AZ 85034. Call 602-495-0901 for appointment.
Please allow 2 weeks for museum staff to prepare your craft.
