Every story deserves a picture, and every picture has a story. Mornings are for writing, as campers develop characters, settings, and plots. Afternoons are for art, as those ideas come to life in pencil, charcoal, and paint. Teaching Artists introduce playful techniques for drawing expressions, mixing colors, and finding an illustration style, so children discover which materials feel most like them. Whether they create a picture book, comic, graphic novel, or an original work of art, campers strengthen their storytelling, observation, and problem-solving while finding their own creative voice. Future Hearts, Minds & Dreamers (FHMD) provides wholesome and proven arts enrichment programming with qualified professionals in their respective field who have a passion to guide the emerging, ever-absorbing minds of today’s youth and seniors. Students learn through exploration, practical knowledge, and self-reflection.
