9 am Start - Join us for a 10k/5k Skunk Creek Trail Run - Flat and Fast. The course is out and back. Staring out at Skunk Creek/ New River Trail head (bridge) head north 3.1 miles and turn around. Water and gel stations at 1.5 miles and 3.1 miles. First Aid and CPR trained personnel on the course. Apple, Lemon, Blueberry or Cherry pie for the Top 3 males and Top 3 Females. The course is chip timed (on your bib). Bib and race packet pick up opens at 8 am. All runners receive a custom designed Skunk Creek 10k/5k Shirt, finishers medalion, and Southern Phoenix buffet including fresh fruit and Gatorade. Photo finish at the end so please have your bib on your front torso. Kid's 1k starts at 10 am and if they beat Pepé Le Pew they win a prize.
Event details and schedule
Parking at the Skunk Creek Trailhead at 8866 West Thunderbird Road, Peoria, AZ . Race day temperatures expect to be 45-55 F at starting time. The course heads south for 3.1 miles and turn around and head back to the finish.
9 am Start for both the 5k and 10k. Kids race starts at 10 am.
