3 - Independence Mine Tour & Gold Cord Trail Hike Cost: $35 ($20 Session + $15 Independence Mine Tour) + parking (see below) Activities: We will start our morning with a guided tour of the historical Independence Mine site where we’ll learn about the Gold Rush history. Our sketch will be of the independence Mine. From there, we will walk to the nearby trailhead and hike the Gold Cord Trail. We will enjoy our lunches along the way, so be sure to remember your water bottle, sack lunch, and snacks for the trail! Parking: Go past the A-frames and through the pay station to park - $5 pkg. fee paid on site (unless you have the yearly pass).
