Pymatuning sits right on the border of Ohio and Pennsylvania, 75 miles to the east of Cleveland and 100 miles north of Pittsburgh. A popular park for water sports, the park attracts all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts. Twenty-six of the park's 58 cabins sleep six and are available year-round. The rest, which sleep four, are available May 1 through November 1. All cabins feature cable TV, grills, fire rings, linens and towels, and more. While there, you can make a trip to the Pymatuning Lake Spillway, a great place to drop a line and catch some fish.

Located in southern Ohio, Pike Lake is a family friendly state park. . With 587-acres, Pike Lake is nestled in scenic wooded hills and its quaint rustic charm is the main draw for visitors looking to get away from the rest of the world. Stay in one of the park's 12 family cabins which sleep six and are available for year-round use. . The cabins feature two bedrooms, a bath with shower, gas log fireplace, kitchen and dining area, and a screened porch. An additional 12 basic cabins sleep four people and are available in the summer months.

Fifty miles northeast of Cincinnati, this serene 1,075-acre park is replete with inlets filled with water lily pads. Even if you're staying overnight, a picnic lunch should be on your "to do" list when visiting Cowan Lake. The park's 23 cabins sleep four or six and feature a variety of modern conveniences including a complete kitchen, living room, TV, dining area and screened porch.
