About this event
This course provides a solid foundation in the fundamentals of fly fishing. Topics include tackle selection and assembly, knots, fly casting, fish foods, artificial flies, fly fishing strategies, entomology, and wading safety. By the end of the course, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to catch fish with a fly rod on your own. The class is taught by Kevin Tracewski, a registered Maine guide and author of the best-selling book A Fisherman’s Guide to Maine. At the end of the registration, a pop up will appear for something called Active Advantage. This is not part of our program. It does not provide benefits for our students and it does not affect your enrollment in any way. Please click no and complete your registration. If you click yes by mistake, please contact PVAEC as soon as possible so we can help you cancel it.
