Boat Permits are issued per boat. For example, if your family has two boats, you need to obtain two permits. Boating permits are available for Green Lake at the Recreation Office. All permit holders must be at least 18 years of age to operate any boat on Green Lake. Anyone using the boat must be listed on the permit.
The Town of Orchard Park my revoke this permit at any time. Boats luanched at North Lake Drive only. Parking area for cars with boat and car permits only. No swimming in launch area. Boats must stay fifty (50) feet from all swimming areas, the dam and from the fountains. No swimming from boats. Coast Guard approved life jacket, properly fitted, must be worn at all times. Proper boat handling and observance of Water Safety Rules shall be obeyed. Permits must be available for checking at all times. Parents are responsible for children knowing all the rules.
