The first annual Great Train Race kids fun run!

Join us for the perfect way to kick off the summer!

Saturday June 13th at the Train Depot by the OP Library.

Participant's will walk, run, skip or hop their way along the course that starts at the Train Depot and loops along the Rails to Trails path.

After or before their run, kids can explore the OP Library inside and out. Outside the library will have an inflatable obstacle course, backyard games and crafts. Local fitness vendors will be present to talk about the amazing opportunities we have in Orchard Park to keep a healthy active lifestyle regardless of your age.

Grades UPK- K have a .25 mile run or walk

Grades 1-2 have a .50 mile run or walk

Grades 3-6 have a 1.00 mile run or walk

All heats will start and end at the depot, the distance along the rail trail is adjusted based on grade level.

All participants receive an official race sticker with their number and a commemorative medal when crossing the finish line.

Grades 3+ will be timed for fun.

No awards ceremony will be held.

Runners in the UPK-K group must have an adult partner to run or walk with them. Adults run at no charge. $10 per child.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the time you select to race to check in.

Race numbers can be picked up the day of at the check in table. You may also pick up your race numbers from 8:30a-4:30pm starting June 8th-June 12th at the Recreation Department located at Community Activity Center at 4520 California Rd M-F
