About this event
Thinking about bringing robotics into your classroom, afterschool club or a competitive team? Come and learn from a season coach!! Join us for an exciting hands-on robotics camp where aspiring engineers will explore the fundamentals of robot design, programming, and problem solving! Design & Build – Work in teams to construct your very own Clawbot using VEX IQ robotic components. Program with Precision – Learn the basics of block coding to control your robot’s movements and functions. Master Robotics Challenges – Use distance sensors to detect obstacles and experiment with claw, arm, and drive designs to optimize performance. Team Competition – Put your skills to the test in a fun, interactive challenge where strategy and teamwork lead to victory! Industry Exploration – Visit a local business to see robotics in action and discover real-world applications in various industries. With a mix of hands-on building, coding, and problem-solving, this camp offers an unforgettable deep dive into the exciting world of robotics and witness robots in real-world settings! Please Note: To ensure equitable access, we kindly ask that each educator limits their initial registration to two externship opportunities. This will allow as many participants as possible to take advantage of these experiences. After the first two weeks of registration, we will open remaining spots to those interested in additional opportunities. Thank you for your understanding and support!
