Paid Educator Externship Opportunity • Participate alongside students as an active learner in this immersive camp experience • Observe technical and employability skill development through an educator lens • Support student engagement and general safety during camp activities • Earn a $150/day stipend and SCECHs upon completion of externship requirements Drone Camp Experience Take flight in this high-energy camp as participants learn the basics of drone operation, flight safety, aerial maneuvers, simulator challenges, and the growing use of unmanned aerial systems across multiple industries. Campers will gain hands-on flying experience while exploring the technology behind today’s drone applications. Educator Career Connection This externship introduces educators to emerging technology careers, aviation safety concepts, real-world business applications of drones, and STEM connections in mapping, agriculture, engineering, photography, and data collection—offering exciting examples of future-focused learning. No prior drone or aviation experience is required—only a willingness to participate, learn, and explore real-world applications. Educator Externship Registration Guidelines To ensure equitable access across the region, educators are asked to limit initial registration to two externship opportunities during the first two weeks of enrollment. Remaining openings will then be available for additional registrations.
