As part of our Academy programs, students will participate in three Business Immersion Trips designed to connect classroom learning with real-world careers. We will depart from the Industrial Arts Institute in Onaway to visit a different local business in the region. These immersive experiences will include: 🔹 A company overview and presentation on products or services 🔹 Insight into available positions, required skills, and career pathways 🔹 Information on apprenticeship opportunities and hiring practices 🔹 A breakdown of benefit packages and work culture 🔹 A guided tour of the facility Clothing requirements for safety: long pants with no rips or frays, high cotton socks. Leather work boots required; Please Note: To ensure equitable access, we kindly ask that each educator limits their initial registration to two externship opportunities. This will allow as many participants as possible to take advantage of these experiences. After the first two weeks of registration, we will open remaining spots to those interested in additional opportunities. Thank you for your understanding and support!
