Train to run the Capital City 5 Mile Race!
This program, led by Club Oly members, is a 13 week program designed for new runners, returning runners and those who have NO running experience who want to make a positive change in their lives. (Before starting any training program, please consult your physician.)
Using the walk/run method with as little as 20 to 30 minutes of walking and jogging just 3 times a week, we can help just about anyone reach their goal of running a five mile race.
Join us Saturday, February 3 at 9:0am at South Sound Running in Olympia for an introductory meeting to the program. Training will begin the following Monday at Marathon Park at 6:00 pm.
Training Schedule: During the program we will meet during the week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm at Marathon Park and on Saturdays at SSR at 8:30am.
Registration fee is $50.00 which also includes a running shirt and full year Club Oly membership in addition to the 13 week training program. The fee does NOT include entry to the race at Cap City Marathon.
The number of participants is limited so register soon!
Shirt guarantee date: If you register after January 25, we can not guarantee that you will receive a shirt or that it will be your size.
