Description
If you love singing timeless songs with friends and family under the stars (or simply in your own living room!) and love the sound of a ukulele, then this beginner-friendly class is just for you! You'll learn the uke chords and strums to a number of well-known fireside favorites plus a couple of easy-to-learn pop songs. And while there’s no pressure whatsoever to sing along, students are encouraged to do so. Pre-requisite: An introduction to ukulele class such as Yes You Can Play The Ukulele Part 1 or similar beginner level class, is suggested. But at the very least, you’ll need to know at least 6 basic chords (major, minor, 7th) and be able to transition among them. Please bring your soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele (no baritone ukes, please, as they're tuned much differently) a guitar or ukulele pick and a ukulele capo (which can be purchased online or at local music stores for around $15).
