Description
This course includes classroom instruction covering equipment overview, safety and hazards, rescue techniques, tides and currents, navigation, weather, boat-fitting, ten essentials, hypothermia and wilderness ethics. You’ll also get paddling, and self and assisted rescue practice in a heated pool and on both Black Lake and the Salish Sea.
