About this event
Description
Wild Goose Qigong is a vast and ancient system of healing practices from the Kunlun Mountains and is one of the most popular Qigong forms in China. Many of the movements mimic the band-necked goose, which migrates over incredible distances through all manner of weather, and is revered for its strength, grace, loyalty, and dignity. In this gentle class, we’ll practice preliminary movements, breath practices, walks, and meditations that will strengthen, balance, and relax your body, mind, and spirit. Each class will include An Mo Gong (self-healing massage) and other warmups. Instructor: Rae Dimond
This is a standing class. Some of the practices require the ability to briefly balance on one leg. Some practices require the ability to twist the spine and bend it forward, backward, and to the side. Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in
