Experience the beauty of a rare old-growth forest on this guided walk through Squaxin Park, just minutes from downtown Olympia. After a welcome to the land and a brief meditation, enjoy a peaceful stroll while listening to the sounds of trees, ferns, and mushrooms through a device that translates plant electrical signals into music. Walks may be rescheduled or canceled if weather or trail conditions are unsafe or not conducive to the experience. Class will meet at Squaxin Park, 2600 Eastbay DR,NE Olympia (near the bathrooms opposite of the Rose Garden.) Parking may be challenging so please allow enough time to park. The Forest Walk will start promptly at 9:30a.m. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
