Happy PRIDE Month! Please join staff and community partners as we host our National Trails Day Stewardship PRIDE Event to give the LGBTQIA2S+ community an opportunity to share their passion for environmental restoration while feeling safe and celebrated for who they are. During this family-friendly event, we will remove English ivy and Himalayan blackberry from the wooded trails of Decatur Woods Park. We will have info booths, music, and giveaways! Everyone is welcome!
Tools, gloves and light refreshments will be provided. Meet just inside the park. To volunteer for this free event, you must sign up online at https://volunteer.olympiawa.gov/. If you have not signed up online before, you will need to create an account. For more information, call 360.753.8365.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and all youth under 18 years of age must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian.
