If you are a skier, snowshoer or a snowboarder you should consider taking this simple safety class taught by Judson Lang. Many people are venturing out into the backcountry to ski or snow shoe and are totally unaware of potential avalanche dangers they encounter. You will learn how to identify potential situations. You will become aware of dangerous terrain and simple avalanche avoidance methods. This necessary safety class will teach people the skills to recognize avalanche terrain, learn about the snow pack and avalanche conditions, pick out clues to dangers ahead, and master how to make the critical decisions necessary to greatly enhance your safety and enjoyment in the winter environment.
